Cynthia has over 20 years of industry experience and has a resourceful network within the Chinese financial sector and government agencies. She joined WI Harper as the first chief representative and involved many of WI Harper’s sucuessful investment such as Focus Media (Nasdaq: FMCN) DivX (Nasdaq: DivX) and Cwill/BJXW—a company that created 2 telecom standard: TD-SCDMA and McWiLL.
Prior to WI Harper, Cynthia was the Managing Director of China Trust and Investment Corporation for Economic Development, wholly owned by the Ministry of Finance,she managed over $200M assets and oversesed all the businesses of international department. Cynthia was macro-economy analyst for MOF China for 8 years.
Cynthia is now in charge of WIH’s RMB fundraising and investment. She also covers portfolio managements especially their business development such as help them obtaining licenses and permits in different municipalities.
Cynthia holds an M.S. in Taxation from George Washington University and BA in Economics from The Northeast University of Finance and Economics.
