Alistair is Chief Investment Officer of Actis and Chairman of our Investment Committee. He is responsible for overseeing the investment activities of Actis. He has been in private equity for 20 years, starting with 3i, and joined Actis in 2004 from PPM Capital, then the international private equity business of Prudential.
Notable deals led by Alistair include the management buy-in of UK gaming group Gala, the buyout in the Netherlands of TMF Group, a leading global management and accounting outsourcing business, and the buy-and-build deals that created Australian Envelopes.
Alistair holds an MBA from Cass Business School in London and a degree in engineering science from Aberdeen University.
